Well come to think of it, looking at the layout, if they were to actually bring back The Oceanarium Restaurant, what they could do is move the O Bar upstairs where Lychee is, which would work out perfect. Lychee, a breakfast buffet restaurant on the second floor, above O Bar (formerly Shogun, a Japanese sushi restaurant)īack to where O Bar is, if you’ve been to The Oceanarium Restaurant, you might recall a Japanese sushi restaurant on the second floor above it called Shogun. Also up on the 5th floor pool deck is the Monkeypod Kids’ Club, that offers treasure hunting, craft making and other Hawaiian cultural learning activities. There, along with the original swimming pool (that’s been modified to be kid-friendly), they’ve also added an adults-only infinity pool with adjoining hot tub, surrounded by a plethora of comfy lounge chairs and swank cabanas. ![]() Speaking of having enough bars, moving along to more renovations and changes they’ve made since becoming ‘Alohilani Resort, there’s Swell Bar on the 5th floor pool deck. ![]() That would suck! Thankfully they haven’t, as there’s already more than enough bars in Waikiki! What we need are more cool concept restaurants for everyone to enjoy like The Oceanarium was!
